Project: Open Source* (2004) Description: Based on key ideas of the open source software Linux, Open Source* is a fashion concept for clothing garments that could be assembled, disassembled, modified and changed according to your own specific wishes. In this concept clothing garments are subdivided and according to their individual patterns, which can be tied to one another, are re-form in order to make something new. For example: trousers that become a jacket, a skirt, a coat or again - trousers, but then in a completely different way. With endless combinations & possibilities Open Source* offers new ways to constantly re-invent yourself and to create the most personal the fashion statement. |
